The inverted L antenna with an external tuner is really popular today with new hamsbecause it will work on multiple bands.

BY REQUEST: I've had several of my friends wanting me to post this. This is my UPS for my station. Runs 2 refrigirators, a microwave, and a few lamps. It's 6 deep cycle lead acid cells in parallel to a 5KW 12v inverter. I can run 20amps @ 115 VAC for almost 48 hrs. This will vary on the load. Had it now 4 years. Works great. No fooling with a generator and extension cords. The battery manager is connected most of the time so the batteries are at full output. 73's John
